Our project seeks funding to enhance our developmental preschool by adding safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate playground equipment. Currently, our outdoor space is limited and does not fully support the physical, sensory, and social-emotional needs of our students. New equipment will provide opportunities for climbing, sliding, swinging, and imaginative play, helping children build gross motor skills, balance, coordination, and peer connections.
The playground will be accessible to students with varying abilities, fostering inclusion and meaningful participation for all. This project will directly support individualized education plan (IEP) goals, promote social-emotional growth, and encourage healthy physical activity. By creating an engaging play environment, we will extend learning beyond the classroom, preparing students for success in kindergarten and beyond. Funding this project ensures every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive through play.
