Materials for New Autism Program
Lysandra Duff - Early Childhood Education Center, Rexburg
$390.00
This is my first year in a new classroom that is designed for students with autism. I have ran out of my classroom budget for materials and supports. I have built a basic task box system but I am still building an adapted book library for students ages 3-5 in our autism program. Adapted books are books that have been altered to make them more accessible to children with disabilities. For autistic children, and children with language delays, one way to adapt books is by adding pictures to match to each page.
They can increase engagement and make books and literacy more accessible to all children. I need to purchase new books that I can adapt and I have ran out of cardstock and laminating sheets. For circle time I still need to make a song choice board with songs and visuals for students to hold. I also need a shelf to put circle time materials on and a few more activities and intervention materials to use during intervention stations.

Rolling In to Classrooms!
Sara Buffington - Frontier Elementary School, Boise
$300.00
Currently, I face challenges in clearly communicating learning intentions and expectations during my push-in lessons. Visual learners, in particular, benefit from having learning objectives and success criteria both displayed and verbally reinforced. To better support these students and enhance lesson organization, I am seeking funding for a rolling whiteboard that can travel with me between classrooms, providing a consistent visual aid to reinforce learning goals.
